    Saint Ubaldo Day

    Annually, St. Ubaldo Day takes place in the town of Jessup on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. Originating in Gubbio, Italy, the day honors the life of St. Ubaldo Baldassini who, along with many other feats, is said to have saved Gubbio from the conquering Frederick I. In Gubbio, Italy the celebration is held every May 15.
