    Ferri's Pizza
    The area's first and only coal mine theme pizza shop. This pizza place has a museum featuring tons of Anthracite coal mining artifacts. There are videos to watch, photographs to view and coal mine related artwork painted by local artists. The entrance way is a replica of a coal mine and features its own miner named Stosh. Come for a pizza and leave with a history lesson.

    Steamtown National Historic Site

    One of the largest collections of period locomotives and rolling stock in the United States is on display at Steamtown National Historic Site.     Greater Hazleton Historical Society Museum

    Founded in 1980, the Greater Historical Society purchased the historic firehouse building in Hazleton and transformed it into the Greater Hazleton Historical Museum. The goal of the society and museum is to preserve the history of the Hazleton area through exhibits of artifacts and memorabilia along with a genealogical research center.

    Luzerne County Museum

    Housed in an historical 1893 building, and operated by the Luzerne County Historical Society, the County Museum exhibits a permanent collection of Native American and anthracite mining artifacts.     Holocaust Museum & Research Center
    Sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Northeastern Pennsylvania, the HMRC was established in 1994 in the Scranton Jewish Community Center. The museum features a small but growing collection of artifacts including a Czech Torah that survived the Holocaust. The research center offers community education, commemorations and outreach programs for local schools.
