    National Shrine of the Sacred Heart
    This Catholic shrine in Harleigh, PA is the largest outdoor shrine in America devoted to the Sacred Heart. Built on the side of a hill, it has five plateaus, the focal point being a giant statue of the Sacred Heart made in Carrara marble.

    Covenant Presbyterian Church

    Located on the Hill Section near downtown Scranton, the Covenant Presbyterian Church is devoted to serving Christ and the sharing of the Gospel. Worship is held at 10:30 am on Sunday morning. Other events are scheduled on the church calendar.

    Historical Brainerd Church
    The Brainerd Church in Sugarloaf, Pa was built in 1851. This historical landmark still conducts services twice a year and is open for tours by appointment. A refurbished one-room schoolhouse is located adjacent to the church.

    Basilica of the National Shrine of Saint Ann

    Basilica of the National Shrine of Saint Ann contains the world's largest novena to Saint Ann. The church was named a basilica by Pope John Paul II in 1996. Each June, thousands of visitors pay homage to Saint Ann at the Solemn Novena. The basilica is also known for its spectacular architecture.

    Completed in 1871, the design of this ancient church is described as Gothic, Elizabethan and ornamental English. Services are held on Sundays at 8 am and 10:30 am, noon and 5 pm. Childcare is available for weekend services.
