Purchased in 1881 by a wealthy coal broker, this now 400 acre (162 ha) estate is a unique example of Pennsylvania's Gilded Age. The farm hosted many of society's elite and was a center of agricultural prowess. The on-site dairy store has produced regionally famous Hillside milk and ice cream since 1977. Tours are available.
